Responsibilities and Duties of a Restocker:

• Perform general restocking duties on a daily basis including storing and restocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, etc.
• Move, handle, and transport finished products, material, or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation
• Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards and dispose of boxes
• Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow safety policies and procedures, and encourage colleagues to do the same
• In order to keep up the appearance of the store, in addition to stocking products and creating displays, the Stocker assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the store by sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning up spills.
• The Stocker usually works in a visible place on the showroom floor while stocking merchandise, so they must also be capable of providing excellent customer service. 
• They assist customers who need help and answer customer questions.
